Meet our blue mitted ragdoll kitten
Luna is gorgeous!
She is a blue traditional ragdoll with those beautiful blue eyes, grey points and white mitted paws. Her litter was mostly mink ragdoll, however she ended up being one of two traditional in the litter of 7.
Here’s the progression of her color from birth until now (she’s currently a 12 week old kitten).
There are a lot of ragdoll colors to choose from, and it took me a couple of hours of research to learn it all. In the end, I really loved the blue point, and when I found a breeder (we loved a local one Kootenay Ragdolls) I got lucky and had first pick.
She told me she had a blue mitted ragdoll kitten and I was smitten!
I love her blue eyes
Blue eyes are what all traditional ragdolls have, mink ragdolls have green/aqua. Her sister we also have is a mink blue bicolor and has green eyes. They look really beautiful in contrast to each other.
A mitted blue ragdoll has less grey when they are first born, but as you can see by 12 weeks her face has that grey point now. Blue point ragdolls will have their face, legs and tail gray with a white body.
Mitted blue ragdolls also have those adorable white feet and often a white chin.
I’m really looking forward to seeing her grow up and give you updated photos too.
